Fulacht Fiadh

In pasture, on NE side of stream. Grass-covered spread of burnt material. According to local information, mound levelled c. 1974. Probably one of four fulachta fiadh (see 10850) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 87). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
