Fulacht Fiadh

In rough grazing. Irregular fulacht fiadh consisting of roughly oval mound of burnt material (11.5m N-S; 7.3m E-W; H 1.1m) with central depression (c. 2.2m N-S; c. 1.45m E-W; D c. 0.3m). Smaller elongated mound of burnt material to NW, connected to main mound by narrow 'bank' of burnt material. Probably one of two fulachta fiadh (see 10274) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 159), one on J. Reen's land, one on M. Quinn's.
