Hot stones, water, steam, heat. A fulacht fia is a cooking or bathing fire made visible in stone. Reanasup keeps that shape in Kerry pasture, a shallow burnt disc wide enough for several people to gather around. They may have cooked together, cleaned wounds, or marked a boundary with heat. The grass has swallowed the pit but not the purpose.
