What is recorded here
In the 1940s a fulacht fia was recorded 'in Garret Nagle's Big Field' but its dimensions were unknown as it had been completely removed (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry). Its precise location is not known and it is possible that it is in that part of the townland on OS 6-inch map 68.
