In rough grazing. L-shaped mound (L 19m; Wth 17m; H 0.7m) of dark-coloured soil and small shattered fragments of quartzite and limestone; opening (Wth 14m) faces SE. Dry channel (Wth 2.5m) extends SSW from site. Several limestone boulders in vicinity. Fulacht fiadh (11206) c. 90m to SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
