Fulacht fia in Knockanuha

In rough hill pasture, E of a stream and on the N side of a valley between Knockanuha Hill and Carran Mountain. A D-shaped mound (straight W side: 7.5m N-S; 1.75m E-W; H 0.8m) of burnt material. A horizon (L 7.5m) of burnt material, which was exposed during land drainage, is visible along the face of the E bank of the stream. Two fulachtaí fia (KE094-055001-, KE094-055003-) are c. 10m to the S and 15m to the NE, respectively. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
