Fulacht fia in Knockagolig

On gentle NW-facing slope. Low oval mound of burnt material (12.7m NNW-SSE; 7.5m ENE-WSW; H 0.3m); cut on NE side by forestry trench on NNW-SSE axis. Layer of burnt material (L 6.5m; max. D 0.2m) visible in section in W side of trench; less distinct on E side; towards NNW end material is less stony and more charcoal-rich, possibly indicating the hearth area. One of a group of four fulachta fiadh (15264, 15265, 15267). Possibly one of four fulachta fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 381) (see 15264).
