Fulacht fia in Knockagolig

Section of burnt material (L 3m; D 0.3m) exposed in S terminal of forestry trench; probably extends further S, possibly under field fence. One of a group of four fulachta fiadh (15264, 15266, 15267). Possibly one of four fulachta fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 381) (see 15264). (O'Shaughnessy, 1997) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
