Knockaderry holds a fulacht fia beside a rath on an east-facing slope, overlooking Farranfore. Heat and water likely turned that place into a kitchen, bath or meeting point where people gathered to share life. The burnt material seen inside the rath in 1986 has vanished from later notice, leaving the site quieter but still marked by what it once did.

In pasture, on an E-facing slope, with views N over Farranfore. Burnt material was noted in the interior of the rath (KE048-057001-) in 1986 (Castleisland District Archaeological Survey).
