What is recorded here

Kilcooly North hides a fulacht fia beneath ordinary ground, visible only when a drain cuts through memory. Men digging for water struck stones shattered by ancient heat, exposing a kitchen where people boiled food or bathed in stolen fire. The site gives up no grand monument, only burnt rock and the chance that human hands once tended that flame. What is missing becomes a question instead of a fact: who cooked there, who watched the steam rise, and why the place waited for a trench before remembering itself?

This is another example of a fulacht fiadh being discovered while a drain was being dug; all that remains today are some burnt and fire-shattered stones. The above description is derived from C.
