Fulacht fia in Kilcooly North

This is a horseshoe-shaped mound situated on the W bank of a small stream. Its overall dimensions are 21.4m E-W x 22m N-S. The incurved front of the mound faces N and the mound rises .8m above the central area. On the crest of the mound is a depression measuring 9m x 6m x .6m deep.
