Fulacht fia in Kilcooly North

A small stream runs to the E of this site, which consists of a circular mound 26m N-S, 28m E-W and 1.8m in maximum height. Some burnt stones and clay are visible especially to the NE. NNE of this site lie the next four fulachta fiadh, in the Kilcooly North townland. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
