Situated in enclosed land on the flat bottom of a drained peat basin at southern foot of Knocknaveen (known locally as ‘Glan Hill’). The fulacht fia is located c. 28.5m to WSW of MA085-016001- . Another fulacht fia (MA085-016003-) lies 20m to SSW along a modern field drain. It comprises a scatter of heat-fractured stone (NNE– SSW c. 8m) visible on the surface of the recently ploughed field.
