Situated in the corner of a marshy field with a stream running immediately S and then turning N. A horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt stones and charcoal was discovered prior to ploughing. The mound has since been removed and a scattering of burnt stones is all that is now evident. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
