In pasture, to SW of well and adjoining S end of another fulacht fiadh (9762). Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 14m; Wth 12m; H 1.8m); opening faces W. Hollow on NE side (L 6m) possibly where some burnt material was removed. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
