In tillage, on a slight SE-facing slope. A kidney-shaped spread (18.5m E-W; 17m N-S) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil was discovered during ploughing in 2006 (McClatchie, 2006). The opening (Wth 11m) faces SW. Some of the burnt material from the spread had been dragged towards the SE by the plough. A possible burnt mound (CO030-253----) lies 7m to the SE.
