In rough pasture, on bog on a W-facing slope. A horseshoe-shaped mound (c. 9m NW-SE; c. 5m NE-SW; H 0.5m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 2.5m) faces SW towards a stream. Except for part of the S arm, the mound is densely covered by gorse. Two other fulachtaí fia (CO115-124001-, CO115-124002-) lie c. 60m to the E and c. 30m to the NE, respectively.
