In pasture, on the W side of a stream on Bear Island. A horseshoe-shaped mound (8.5m N-S; 8m E-W; H 0.9m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 2m) faces E towards a stream. The mound is largely covered by a dense growth of gorse. There is a possible burnt mound (CO128-027002-) c. 65m to the SW.
