In rough hill grazing, in a hollow in blanket bog. A kidney-shaped mound (10.2m N-S; 5.4m E-W; H 0.4m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 1.6m) faces W towards a marshy area and a small stream. A second fulacht fia (CO115-121002-) lies c. 20m to the S and there is a field boundary (CO115-121003-) c. 20m to the NW.
