Fulacht fia in Coolbane (orrery and Kilmore By.)

In pasture, c. 10m N of stream. Oval mound of burnt material (18m N-S; 12m E-W; H 0.35m). Two recently dug shallow hollows (diam. of largest: 2m) towards S end. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
