Fulacht fia in Cloghjordanpark

Fulacht fia identified by C.O'Brien (pers.comm. 30/6/1998). Large spread of burnt material unearthed during ploughing of field could be remains of a fulacht fia. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
