Fulacht fia in Claraghatlea North is a lost cooking pit near Tubrid Holy Well, recorded by Broker in 1937 and removed before measurement. It may have steamed food for travellers, festivals or ordinary households, while water from the holy well gave the work a ceremonial edge. The bog kept no clear trace, but the loss itself belongs to the place: a temporary kitchen, forgotten quickly, remembered only through writing.

Broker (1937,13) recorded a fulacht fiadh 'in bog near Tubrid Holy Well [13961]. No idea of size. Long since removed'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
