On a flat very wet valley floor with numerous streams and springs. There are fair views across the valley. The most easterly of three possible fulachta fia (KK014-127001-/KK014-127002-/KK014-127003-) identified during ASI fieldwork in 1987. They are orientated in a linear roughly E-W arrangement, c. 30m apart.
