What is recorded here

Single-arch rubble limestone road bridge over stream, c.1850, on site of earlier bridge, pre-1840. Random rubble limestone walls with overgrown rubble limestone parapets. Single arch now overgrown. Sited spanning stream with overgrown grass banks to stream.
A small-scale bridge representing an element of the mid nineteenth-century civil engineering heritage of County Kilkenny while making a pleasing, if increasingly-subtle visual impression in a rural setting.
