On the NE shore of a shrunken lake, in flat boggy terrain. A horseshoe-shaped mound (diam. c. 8m; H 0.3m) of blackened soil, though no evidence of stone, identified during ASI fieldwork in 1987. The precise location of this monument within the townland is unknown.
