Windele (1898, 57) recorded a good 'folloch' consisting of 'small burnt stones, mixed with fragments of charcoal, a shallow hollow in the middle, the whole appearance dark and the immediate vicinity moist'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
