One of five fulachta fiadh recorded by Bowman (1934, 711) in Ballagh townland. Exact location not known. Bowman (ibid.) described '2 in A. O'Shaughnessy's, 1 in Benjamin Twomey's and 2 in R. Barry's'; four fulachta fiadh known (10222; 10223; 10224; 10225). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
