This site was excavated (E3495) during 2005 as Site 34 of the N11 Gorey to Arklow link. Situated on the lower SW-facing slope of Ask Hill. A subrectangular trough (dims 1.6m x 1.5m; D 0.45m) with stake-holes at the corners was filled with burnt stone material, and there was a small burnt mound (dims 4.1m x 3m; T 0.1m) which seems to have been complete. There was a burnt pit (WX007-068002-) c. 20m to the NNE, and the the excavated features (WX007-071----) are c. 150m to the N. (Stevens 2008)
