What is recorded here

This site is situated at the bottom of a pastoral field which is sloping S. Beside a small E flowing stream is a grass covered horseshoe-shaped mound measuring 5.28m N-S, 11.28m E-W and .4m high. The in-curved front of the mound faces S and measures 5.75m point to point. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 45. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
