Froggatt Pinnacle is a prominent sandstone rock formation in the Derbyshire Dales, formed during the Permian period around 290–250 million years ago. It is notable for its striking vertical profile and is part of the Zechstein Group, a sequence of sedimentary rocks that reflect a time of arid climate and evaporite deposition in the region.
