What is recorded here

Situated on a hill overlooking 'Fortane Castle' (CL027-036----) and Castle Lough to the NW. A five-bay house with a central porch facing SE. A small one-bay extension is located at the back of the N side. The building is partly covered with ivy. The windows at the front are sash windows, the two outer ones are missing. There is a farmyard and some adjoining buildings to the NW. Weir (1986, 129-30) describes both the external and internal features.
