Two-storey 19th century house, built of random-rubble with dressed limestone quoins. Front (SE) of 3 bays: central doorway with engaged Ionic columns supporting fanlight; sash windows with glazing bars and limestone sills. Hipped roof of slate with slightly projecting eaves; two off-centre chimneys of cut stone. Central round-headed stairway window at rear. Two 1-storey gabled projections to rear on NE side. Date plaque inscribed '1845' on pier of entrance gateway. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
