Seven centuries of rain erased the church, but a hexagonal stone font still holds water outside the modern door in Glebe. It may have travelled from Fahan, carrying baptismal memory across the county before men stopped building churches worthy of heaven. The font does not ask to be believed; it asks to be touched, and in that touch it becomes a living bridge between forgotten prayers and the child being named today.

A short right-angled stretch of masonry in the graveyard (DG004-005003-) adjacent to the modern church seems to be all that survives of a pre-17th century church (DG004-005001-) here. Just outside the door of the modern church is a painted stone font (DG004-007-), hexagonal in shape, c. 0.5m across with a hollow .3m in diameter and 0.2m deep.
