Font in Calliaghstown Lower stands on the west-facing slope of Saggart Hill, holding a holy water basin beside the old Slademore Lodge burial ground. The site belonged to St. Mary de Hogges, a religious house that shaped local life long before the lodge gave the place its later name. Water, death and memory still move through this small corner of County Dublin, inviting people to imagine the hands that once washed, buried and remembered here.

Situated on the W facing slope of Saggart Hill. A Holy water font was originally found at the site. A house known as Slademore Lodge was identified by the OS Letters (1837) as the site of a burial ground (DU024-003002-) (Herity 2001, 39).
