Situated on a level, low-lying landscape. The Cropmarks of fragmented field banks, some forming strips (dims. c. 100m x 20m) and covering c. 18 acres (7 ha), are visible on aerial photographs (MM (4) 29-32; (10) (27 9). The ring-ditches (WX048-116002-; WX048-116006-) and three enclosures (WX048-116003-; WX048-116004-; WX048-116005-) are within the complex. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
