Field system in Inchicloon

In rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. The remains of mainly curvilinear stone walls (T 0.65m; H 0.4m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog and indicate a network of relict field walls throughout an irregular-shaped area (c. 300m NE-SW; c. 100m NW-SE). Rubble from the collapsed upper courses is embedded in the bog. The relict walls are best exposed in small areas of cutaway bog. There is an enclosure (KE102-061001-) within this network.
