What is recorded here
Situated on a steep E facing slope near the entrance to a N-S valley with extensive views N to Tralee Bay. The land use is rough grazing for sheep with exposed rock outcrops, thin peat cover and heather. An extensive area of relict field boundaries across the E facing slope from close to the top of the valley, defining at least two E-W fields extending nearly as far as better land near the N-S stream at the bottom of the valley. They contain a number of hut sites and enclosures and a single clochán (KE036-104----) and cover an area about 200m x 200m.
