What is recorded here
Visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 156-7), and situated on the gentle S-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge of karst. An area of about 6 ha (c. 18 acres) contains relict field walls visible as stone spreads (Wth c. 1m) which are generally aligned N-S. Archaeological testing (02E1839) by the roadside at the W edge failed to produce any related archaeological material (Read 2004n).
