Field system in Ballyvadlea (cloneen Par.)

In tillage, on a SE-facing slope. A moated site (TS063-034003-) is located immediately to the NE and a possible moated site (TS063-034002-) is adjacent to the W. Identified by aerial photography (G.S.I. S.651/650 16/04/1974) as a linear cropmark (long-axis NE-SW) which appears to continue into the field to the NE and runs along the SE side of the possible moated site, while another linear cropmark extends SW from the W corner of the possible moated site and continues roughly along the SE side of the adjacent moated site, on the same alignment.
