Field boundary in Shronebirrane

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope of Knocknaveacal. A relict field wall (T c. 0.7m; H 0.8m) extends for a distance of c. 155m in a general E-W direction across the hillside. The remains consist of a collapsed S-facing drystone wall of slabs which are set horizontally against the hillslope to the N. Rubble from the wall collapse is scattered downslope to the S. An enclosure (KE108-055004-) is situated immediately to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
