Field boundary in Moorneen

Moorneen holds a broken stone line beside an ancient tomb, marking a field that predates modern ownership. The wall runs fifty metres upslope through heather, then crosses west toward the burial place, shaping a hundred metre square of forgotten use. People likely herded animals or claimed land there before records existed, while the tomb watched over both the living and dead. The stones remain disjointed because time, weather and human change have rewritten the boundary more than once.
