Field boundary in Curragraigue (glanarought By.)

In rough hill pasture, on a S-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Sheen River. A collapsed curvilinear stone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.4m), which protrudes above the surface of shallow bog, runs upslope to the N for c. 65m and curves slowly to the NW and W for c. 25m. Upright stones, set at right angles to the line of the wall, were noted at irregular intervals. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
