Field boundary in Coolanarroo

In rough hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. A collapsed, curvilinear stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) rises from the bog to the SE of a SW-flowing stream, meanders in a general SE direction for c. 60m and curves around to the SW for c. 95m, ending close to a modern field boundary. Rubble is embedded in the bog beside the wall. A hut site (KE102-096002-) is c. 40m to the N. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
