Field boundary in Ballymacthomas

'In the same large amalgamated field as the above site [KE038-091----], on a similar limestone reef is ..........the remains of a low bank, 0.30m in height on its western side and 0.20m high on its eastern side. The bank has a maximum width of 3.00m at its northern terminus, narrowing to 2.00m in width as it progresses eastwards. This bank is now grass-covered, but does appear to have a high content of stone. The curve of this bank is an average distance of 5.00m from the mound [KE038-143----], the bank itself being c.20.0m in length.'
