Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, occupied 1901, on an L-shaped plan centred on single-bay single-storey projecting porch to ground floor; three-bay (west) or single-bay (east) two-storey side elevations. Hipped slate roof on an L-shaped plan; hipped slate roof (porch), clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks having rendered red brick corbelled stepped capping supporting terracotta tapered pots, and cast-iron rainwater goods on roughcast eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Creeper- or ivy-covered roughcast walls on rendered plinth. Central door opening into farmhouse. Square-headed window openings with limewashed shallow sills, and concealed dressings framing six-over-six (ground floor) or three-over-six (first floor) timber sash windows. Set in landscaped grounds perpendicular to road with rendered piers to perimeter having curvilinear capping supporting looped wrought iron double gates.

A farmhouse representing an integral component of the nineteenth-century domestic built heritage of County Wexford with the architectural value of the composition, one rooted firmly in the prevailing late Georgian fashion, confirmed by such attributes as the deliberate alignment maximising on scenic vistas overlooking rolling grounds; the compact plan form centred on a restrained doorcase, albeit one largely concealed behind a contemporary porch; and the diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a graduated visual impression. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original fabric, both to the exterior and to the interior, thus upholding the character or integrity of the composition. Furthermore, adjacent limewashed outbuildings (extant 1840) continue to contribute positively to the group and setting values of a self-contained ensemble making a pleasing visual statement in a sylvan street scene.
