Detached three-bay single-storey farmhouse with dormer attic, c.1840. Renovated and extended, c.1940, comprising two-bay single-storey lean-to return to west. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, red brick Running bond chimney stack, rendered coping, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Lean-to corrugated-asbestos roof to return with rendered coping, and timber eaves. Painted roughcast wall to front (east) elevation with painted rendered walls to remainder, and unpainted roughcast walls to return. Square-headed window openings with stone sills, rendered surrounds, and replacement 1/1 timber sash windows, c.1940. Square-headed door opening with rendered surround, and timber boarded door. Set back from road in own grounds with concrete forecourt having limewashed random rubble stone boundary wall with rubble stone piers having rendered pyramidal capping, and wrought iron double gates. (ii) Attached two-bay single-storey rubble stone outbuilding, c.1840, at right angles to south-east. Reroofed, c.1940. Pitched roof with replacement corrugated-iron, c.1940, iron ridge tiles, rendered coping, and no rainwater goods on rendered squared rubble stone eaves. Limewashed random rubble stone walls. Square-headed door openings with timber lintels, and timber boarded doors. (iii) Detached two-bay single-storey rubble stone outbuilding, c.1890, to north-west. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, and no rainwater goods on rendered squared rubble stone eaves. Limewashed random rubble stone walls. Square-headed door opening with timber lintel, and timber boarded door.

A picturesque farmhouse of modest scale and appearance, which retains most of its original form and early fabric. The attendant outbuildings, constructed from unrefined materials, enhance the vernacular quality of the site, and the group forms an appealing feature in the landscape.
