What is recorded here

Fanad Head Coastal Promontory Fort stands where land slants into Atlantic water, using the cliff itself as one wall and raising a stone rim across the narrow neck. People may have watched ships, herded livestock or marked a boundary there long before written records, while storm waves erased footpaths and reset the grass. The sea did the heavy work of building the fort, and human hands likely completed what the coastline began.
