What is recorded here

Half a metre of wall still stands on the western edge of a rocky platform in Tulaigh Chonaill, overlooking poor grazing land and distant horizons. People built that cashel to watch, shelter or claim the edge of the world, while later hands may have taken its stones for newer walls. The fairies keep what the survey leaves behind: a thin ring of marble, memory and marrow on the hill.

A short stretch of the outer face of a cashel wall survives on the W to a height of about .5m. The interior seems to have been quarried. The cashel was built on the perimeter of a rocky platform with good views. The land is poor, with rock outcrop and rough grazing.
