Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Teemore (tullyhaw By.) is a 23m raised circle in a mountain hollow, its broad low wall blurred by trees and bordered by a roadway and track. It sits among other ancient monuments, including a ringfort 160m to the SE and an enclosure 238m to the SSE, suggesting a busy settled landscape rather than a lonely ruin. The name “fairy fort” is local story, not fact, but it captures the way people have always seen the place: odd, old, and slightly outside ordinary life.

In a hollow on ground which rises to the N and to the S, in rough mountainous terrain. A raised circular area (diam.23m) defined by a broad low stone wall which is indistinct yet on which a number of trees have grown. At W and S the cashel is bordered by a roadway and track respectively. Within the enclosed area much stone outcrop appears above ground level. CV001-007----, a ringfort lies 160m to the SE, CV001-023 an enclosure lies 238 to the SSE with CV001-024---- a hut site 312m to the ESE, the latter monuments part of a complex of monuments situated within a distinct field system (CV001-).
