What is recorded here

In pasture, on top of a low rise. A raised circular area (17.8m E-W) defined by tumbled foundations of a drystone wall (Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.3m) along the E and S arcs and by a scarp (H 0.5m) along the W and NE arcs with numerous loose stones along its edge. There is a terrace (Wth 2.5m; H 0.5m) at the base of the scarp along the W arc. The remains of a disused field boundary extend to SW from the cashel. There are foundations of a rectangular hut site (SL032-127002-) in the NE quadrant of the interior. Remains of cultivation ridges crossing the interior on a N-S axis are visible in an aerial photograph (IASAP, 3033072-3).
